Can you please help me????

I was working on a new scrapbook the last few weeks and I added so many things into it that the ring (the wire) that is holding my book together is not big enough anymore.
I can´t barley close the book anymore. :doh:
I can´t get a bigger ring around here in the stores.
Can you tell me what else I can put in to replace that ring??? :confused:
I was thinking about to put a cotton thread in it but the first and last page of the book is made of really hard cardboard that s why I wouldn´t be able to turn the pages anymore. :cry:

Oh goodness. I have had that happen before and I think what I did was just get a different book for it. I got one that has just three holes and ribbon that ties. It wasn't the best quality, but I'm sure it will last and it worked! Good luck, that's a tough one. You could try to just take the whole wire out and use some really thick ribbons? Maybe?

I know I've seen individual rings - like 3 ring binder rings, but individual ones .. perhaps you could find some of those and take the wire out of your book and push the individual rings through about 3 or 4 holes .. might not look particularly nice, but it would open and close. Failing that, I think you'll have to buy a new album and transfer your pages to that. Good luck!

Most office suppliers sell what I've been told are called treasury tags and they might help...

Thank you sooo much spark I found a place in the city that is selling these tags.
I ll get some this week so I don t need to make a new album :D
