Change from straight to curve in Photoshop?

Is there any way to change the shape of something with a straight edge to a curve in photoshop? I have a lovely torn edge which I use a lot (change the colour to suit the LO!) - how can I make it a curved edge? Meryl

Hmmm...great question! I dont know the answer but will be very interested to know the answer!

The only way I know how to do this is to use the Pinch filter. Use the marquee tool to select the edge portion that you want to bend. It doesn't have to be exact, just marquee about the top inch of the whole edge. The filter has a slider and sliding to one side piches it and the other side sort of balloons it out. It's subtle, and you may have to do it a couple times to get what you want, but it should work for you.

You could also try the WAVE filter (Under Filters>Distort>Wave). It has LOTS of variables, though, and ca make it intimidating. Just keep playing until you get a loot you like

For each option, there's to sliders - one is the horizontal distortion, the other is vertical distortion.
