:) Hi Everyone at DSP!
It is Anzac Day here in Australia where I live & I was browsing the gallery and saw some fabulous LO's commemerating the day.
I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years & have (unsuccessfully) tried Dig. SB a couple of times, but gave up due to time constraints & much frustration.
BUT I am dertermined to get it right and give it another go. The kits look great & I will keep DSP as my homepage to keep me on track and learn a bit each day.
I am a mum to my dd who is 17 & doing her final year at highschool, so alot of pressure and stress flies around our house atm. I work full time & keep tropical fish, so time is def. of the essence.
I have PS 7.0 & PSE 5.0 and I am not sure which one I'll use. PSE may be more user friendly, but I have more experience (all self taught, like most users) with PSE.
So, I'll be trying to read as much as poss, and posting in the beginners section with a view to get some pages going....
Thanks guys, there's so much info here, as well as a few aussies! Nice to see.
Love and light,
Kerry
:p

Welcome to DSP - we have lots of members from NZ and Australia as you can probably tell from the lovely Anzac day layouts in the gallery - Im sure you will have no problem with digital scrapbooking seeing you have experience already - the main thing is to not be afraid to ask questions - there is always someone here in the forum willing to answer.
We also have a huge campus section filled with tutorials and articles to help you along

Welcome to DSP! The programs do have a bit of a learning curve but once you get your head around it you will be away.

I have PS 7.0 & PSE 5.0 and I am not sure which one I'll use.
Why not start with PSE 5.0 since it's a little more user friendly. Then you could switch to PS if you find you'd like the extra options.
You're gonna love digi scrapping!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome!
IreneA for the helpful links
MarsOlsen - yes I did choose a great site,
Sharon - yes my brain aches already but I WILL get it fingers crossed,
KindaScrappy - I will go with PSE 5.0 for starters - thought I needed pixel magic too but worked out I didn't
Thanks Jenni & Dutchsparky....
AND Lauren - I loooove your kits ! Thank you so much for creating them. My first digi album will be military/heritage & the Anzac kits will be very very handy.
Last night I DL the SOS Heritage kit for starters! Yummy! I had a bit of a fiddle, but it was way past my bedtime. (Funny how that happens, lol!)
Ok I'll be in beginners for a while.... Thanks again everyone.
Kerry
PS. Is there a quick lesson somewhere for using ploppers? Anyway I shall take my question to beginners...
Have a great day everyone!

That's a great nose you have there -well I hope it's a nose:) Welcome to this fun place. I used to "paper scrap" but soon found I was hooked on the digi stuff, so much less mess. I'm off now to look at your first 3 uploads.

Welcome!! Definitely check out the tutorials and everything here and never hesitate to ask a question! I think once you get the hang of digital scrapbooking you'll find it is much more time friendly than paper scrapping! I look forward to seeing you around here!
