Organization?

I am debating buying Lightroom. Does anyone know if it could be used to organize scrapbook items (elements, bgs, alphas, etc)?

Lightroom is not really designed for scrapbook elements and does not handle .png files.

It's completely focused on photographic processing. What I do is to use Lightroom for my Photographs and Picassa for my Elements and Kits.

You might want to take a look at ACDSee if you are looking for a specialist programme that is great for sorting your scrapbooking supplies - it works well for photos and the elements. There are a number of threads here that discuss the merits of various sorting methods and programmes.
