I was uploading some pictures and LO to have them printed in 4 x 6 format at Sams Club.
On my LO- it didn't recommend 4 x 6, 5 x 7 or anything larger- it only recommended wallet size-
Is there something wrong with my pages? They look fine on the web and in emails???
Thanks for any help you can give!
Donna
That's odd....
The only thing I know is that when I make 4x6 layouts, I make sure not to print anything close to the bottom or sides. If you have text (or pictures) too close, they will clip them. It's happened to me twice, so now I am careful of where I place things.
Probably didn't help ya there, but that's an FYI for all :)

Tina,
I didn't make them 4 x 6 --I made them 8 x 10 -- then I read how others had them printed as 4 x 6 to show and tell~
IF that is all it is -- ( too close to the edge) it wouldn't bother me--
I guess I'll have one printed and SEE!
Any other thoughts? I wonder if my pixels are messed up-
Thanks for your help!
Donna
Can you take one into the store and see what happens?
I'm not sure why it didn't recommend anythin glarger than wallet size, but to check your resolution go to Image>Size and check the dimensions and dpi. Should be 200dpi at the 8x10. Things at 72dpi will look great on the monitor but cruddy once printed. Have you had any printed yet? Even at home?
But half an 8x10 is a 4x5, so perhaps it's just reading that it would fit wallet proportions better???? What's a wallet size, anyway?
Good luck! I STILL haven't made a brag book yet, too lazy and cheap

Emma,
I'm still a little green at this -- LOL
They are at 72 --can I upload 200 ? I was in the habit of doing the 72 to email and post on the web..................
I'll try again--
I'm printing a few thru Sam's Club-- @ 18 cents I thought that was reasonable--LOL plus my parents wanted some *real* pictures of the grandkids
Let me TRY again! LOL-- I usually make them at 300-- What do you suggest for printing.........
Donna-
( Thanks for the sale-- I'm taking advantage of the 50% sale!!!)
72 for the web, makes smaller files
at least 200 for printing. Don't send the 72 files out for printing. Send out the 200 or 300 you create in for printing. See if that helps.
Sam's is a great deal! Be sure to resize your 200dpi layouts to 4x6 and make the excess black or it'll print in white, unless you want white, unless you're cropping them. My sister does black edges on them all, mounted in a sleeve-style album with black background, seen here

I'll probably hand crop mine and just mount on cardstock if I can find half-size page protectors for my little binders I use for everything (day planner, cookbooks, etc). Who knows until I finally get around to doing it?!
Let us know how it goes! Hopefully it'll like the 200dpi layouts better and let you choose something larger
