Comment Challenge for May

Another month of Comment Challenge!!! As usual, post here when you've commented on some layouts! This month let's pump up the new folks!! The New Kids on the Block competition is running now, and let's give them lots of encouragement! Here is a link (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=1245) to the NKOTB gallery. Every time you comment in there, post in this thread, and at the end of the month I'll draw a winner for a free page kit! And don't forget, there's always random prizes here throughout the month, so post post post those comments!! :)

Wow, there are some neat layouts in there! I've never been up on NKOTB or what they do. Do we go to the original version to see the credits? I saw some word art in there that I've missed in the past! I WILL be checking back to those layouts! They are really nice!

Since I am such a goal oriented person, I am going to make a goal to reach 3,500 posts by the end of the month. Wow that is almost 20 posts a day, every day, but I am going to shoot for the stars. I don't know if I can do it, but I am going to give it a try.

That's a good idea Chris! Do we just post here if we post in the New Kids gallery or do we report about any of the galleries we've visited for that day? Do we just post here like, once a day or something? I've never done this kind of commenting yet -- I've just kind of roamed the halls of DSP, chatting here, commenting there, and sometimes just talking to myself!!

I am surprised that there aren't as many entrants for NKOTB this time. I think the last 2 times, there was like double, but maybe everyone is uploading at the last minute. What do you think? Do you think they will let me play? :lol:

I'm back after a spell of illness and it's lovely to be back amidst this friendly community. And what better place to get back into the swing of things than to join in your monthly challenge, Becky. What a good idea to encourage the NKOTB, I'll get started right away.

I've been up bright and early at 7am this morning swapping ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) here - we're trading via private email which is fun and fast.
Then I've been around giving some love to those beautiful deserving LOs - particularly in the NKOTB gallery: their creations are of a very high standard and there are many fun LOs using the Pizza kit. What a great, cheerful and witty group they've got up there.

I've just completed a session of commenting on the LOs for NKOTB, DSP Products, new LOs, and affirmation challenges. And besides having fun my wish list has grown considerably during the session. I keep forgeting to post here too! I usually keep hitting the *New Layouts* button and commenting on those. Other people must do that too because sometimes when I post a layout, I have comments before I even get the links checked! I just comment all over the place! Guess that shows you how lonely I get during the day with only Jakey here to talk to! The hazards of babysitting instead of having a *real job* in an office or something with real grownups!

Tonight the family went for a drive and guess what we saw?!!!!!! A bear! A real live Black Bear. We weren't even up in the wilderness way far away, just up one of the local canyons. We couldn't believe it. I soooooo wish I had gotten a picture, I even had my camera, but as we were driving and the bear didn't want to stop crossing the road so I could get and take a picture it will just be a picture in my brain, I guess.

Popping in to say that I have commented on all the Theme Week entries so far!! I made this committment to myself--sort of a payback for all the comments that were given to NK!

What I didn't know until doing this and exploring a bit was that you can subscribe to galleries just like you can to forums or threads...it's made it really easy to sort my emails, click on a link and comment. I may pop in at the next new kids to say that. What do you think?
