Meryl was unable to be at the chat last Thursday. No voting was done because there was such a small turnout but we did decide on a challenge for this week: An altered flower or flowers layout. The flower(s) must be obviously altered in some way.

Put your layout in the T42 gallery, and post a link here, and join us for the Thursday morning T42 chat.

I hope that recoloring counts because that is what I did here. I recolored the little group of flowers to blue up in the corner by the blue cup and saucers. This is in the heritage gallery now, but I will move it for Thursday morning after the heritage chat.

You may alter the flower any way you like: color, texture, size, etc.

I used a PSP wood effect script which brings out edges and adds texture to a photo.

Here is mine:

I'd like to say I altered the larger flowers so they didn't look like poppies. Truth is I just didn't think about what kind of flowers they were or weren't. They were red. :-)

I used the poster filter and forget what else I did with it.

Thought I would have another go at this challenge- mainly because I couldn't wait to play with the new kit:)

Not sure if this is what we were supposed to do for the altered flowers challenge using Meryls Happy Noo Noo's to make it a Fantasy LO F1 Hybrid - Kadeiflora (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=188608&cat=2621)

Does it count if the altering was done with a printer on a real "silk" flower?

I've been playing with printing on flowers! The right side of the flowers were treated with THE PERFECT PRINTING POUCH prior to printing to stop the bleeding. See the difference?
