Is there anyway (besides creating PNG files for all of them) to get ACDSee to view abr files? I'm guessing no but man wouldn't that be an awesome feature.
not in ACDSee, but check out the abrviewer software. I previews abr files AND you can export all the selected brushes as individual PNG files to view in an album like ACDSee, or to pull into another program besides an Adobe to define as a brush or use like a stamp. Just google abrviewer, I think it's the first hit there

Thanks Emma. I have ABR Viewer, I just don't like it all that well. Oh well, one can only hope. :)
it's not a fantastic program yet, but it does its job. But the export and PNG option is soooo so helpful. I do that and then view the tips in my Adobe Bridge, or I can open them in PSP and define as brushes for that program. I've started trying to use only my own brushes, so my choices are fewer and I don't need the viewer to organize them. But it makes getting them into PSP and viewing in album software a snap!

Thanks for the tip Emma. Sounds like a great way to convert PS brushes so I can use them in PSP. I've also been playing with using some of the png files as mattes in FotoFusion. Brushes are just such a useful item:)

Hi Canay,
I buy brushes too, then use the png's in ACDSee Photo Editor.
And when I buy them they come with png's - and those are the images that I catalog in ACDSee

If you have ACDSee PM 10 an update was released that enables you to view ABR brushes. Here's the info (http://digiscrapinfo.com/wordpress/2007/11/26/acdsee-10-update-view-use-your-brushes-easily-now/). -c-
