Help Me! (PSP Question)

hi, my name is steven and im extremely new to digital scrapbooking and have a big problem. when i open embellishments, wordart, etc. it comes out either completely black or with black squares around the picture. if anyone knows what I'm talking about, can someone help please? I'm in a doozy of a pickle here. i cant start scrapbooking at all with this happening.

Hi Steven, What version do you use?

The reason I ask is... older versions of software png filters don't always work. You need to have software from around the last 3-4 years. Please let us know.

Make sure your version of PSP is completely updated with the patches - there were some releases of several versions which got PNG support wrong, but the patch(es) fixed it up.

I use PSP X, love it.

i use paint shop pro 7

also, what are patches?

Patches ... sorry, upgrades to the program. Choose HELP, click on Check For Updates.

It's been a while since I used PSP 7, but I thought it supported PNG files just fine. Man, I'm not even sure where my PSP 7 CD is.
