What is the easiest way to put in an a simple line around my layout about 1 cm in from the edge.
I have been doing it 2 ways
1-drawing lines around my layouts but they always overlap etc.and go wiggly ???
2- I have also tried selecting a rectangle flood filling and then deleting the main contents to leave a little line on the outside

Is there an easier way to do this ??
Appreciate any feedback
Thanks Sue

do you want it away from the edge, or right on the edge? Try Image>Border and see how you like that

I was going to suggest the same as Emma.

I am using PSP 9 but still have PSP 5 on my computer - so think version 7 has shapes and grid - set the grid to the distance from the edge you'd like your lines and use your rectangle shape to draw the line on the gridline (also, you can put the ruler on or watch the pixel position at the bottom of the screen (one pair of numbers is the size of your rectangle and another is the position of your start position - and your current or end position). You can adjust your line width for a thin or wider line.

I've done borders right on the edge but wanted a highlighted line all the way around about 1 cm inside . I'll try to draw better lines using the grids as suggested and let you know how I go
Thanks for the feedback its really appreciated
