I recently did a layout with a Bluebird photo my husband just took and was asked what equipment he used to take the photo.

He has a Canon 20D, 8 megapixel digital camera and used a Canon 100-400 mm image stabilized lens stretched all the way out to 400 for this photo. Also my husband has a branch attached to a meal worm feeder so they perch on the branch before and after feeding. He sits patiently in a chair close by until they show up to feed. We are spoiled having really good equipment, but still need to get close.
