Anyone else interested in playing with WordArt ... as in "MAKING" your own? I thought I'd see if I could get enough people to play along.

If you are interested in:

 taking your digital image/text manipulation skills to the next step, or
 taking text beyond the 'dingbat', 'font style' level, or
 just playing a new game ...

This is the place to sign up. Just post a note to this thread and we'll go from there.

Sounds like fun - problem is finding the time... But I'm definitely interested :)

Totally understand ... wouldn't it be nice to find an unlimited source of TIME? I'm thinking we'll keep this playtime fun...stessfree...no TIME limits! Just play ...

I'm thinking I'll find a couple quotes and then anyone who joins in the fun can come up with their own version of wordart for that quote ... no restrictions...just fun.

What do you think?

How FUN! I'd totally lost track of this thread ... let's PLAY!

Since Father's Day is quickly approaching why don't we start there? Here's the challenge:
Find a quote that 'speaks' to you.
Post it here ... in this thread ... (by next Friday?)
Once we have a submission from each person we'll then start our 'work' ...
- convert the quote into word ART usable in page layouts and/or other digital art projects.

I'm off to see which quote I'd like to post...

My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.

The greatest gift a man can give his children is to love their Mother.

Here are a couple:

A father carries pictures where his money used to be. ~Author Unknown

Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad
~Proverb quotes

Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father! -Lydia M. Child

It is much easier to become a father than to be one. -Kent Nerburn

I'm so bad.... the first thing I thought at the word "father" was:

“My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die.”
The Princess Bride

But I do like

“I have never been a material girl. My father always told me never to love anything that cannot love you back.”
Imelda Marcos

We've all just doing one of our own choosing ... OR ... you could chose one that others have posted ... come to think of it, I think that sounds fun! I'm off to add a couple from previous posts!

Only a few days left til Father's Day ... for those who have chosen to do a quote/word art based on that theme!!! (ok ... I admit it ... mine is still pretty rough, but it WILL be done and posted by Wed AM! ... if I could just do something to make it quit raining here in Iowa so I could quit bailing the water out of the basement long enough to play on the computer!)
