Any Lynn Austin readers here? I just started one of her oldler books in a series called Gods and Kings (http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=29896&netp_id=354459&event=EBRN&item_code=WW), and it is reeeeeally good. Hard to put down.

Prodigal- I haven't read it. I actually have never heard of the author, but it does sound pretty good. I have 2 more books that I am planning on reading, then I will try to check this one out from the library and read it.
If you haven't read it yet, another great Christian series is the Left Behind Series. I read all of them, then they came out with one more that talks about the 1000 year reign, and I never got to that one.
And I didn't read it, but One Night with the King was a great movie, I don't know about the book.
What other Christian fiction have you read?

I lovvvvvvved the Left Behind series! I read them all until the "end" but haven't read the last few. Also the ones from Jerry Jenkins were really good...like Babylon Rising.

I haven't read much Christian fiction. I'm a major dork so I love stuff from AW Tozer and John MacArthur much better. LOL. MacArthur's my favorite author. He's a tough guy! :D I have a copy of Josephus (an ancient Jewish historian) on my bookshelf, but that thing is huge and hard to read. I'll pick it up and get through a few pages and then my brain goes into overdrive and it'll be weeks before I look at it again. It was on clearance the last time I went to Barnes and Noble so I couldn't resist it.

So a little lighter reading would be nice for a change. :love2:

Haven't read either of those authors either. I just looked them up though and they sound like books that are right down my alley. (Guess that makes a dork, too...:) )
If I don't read fiction, I read Christian non-fiction a lot. I love Lee Strobel's books. I also have a read of few of Tim LaHaye's non-fiction, pretty fascinating stuff! And I love Max Lucado.
Another great Christian fiction writer is Ted Dekker (if you like mysteries). His books are really out there, but the end of them makes them worth it. They are a little on the sci-fi side (which I normally don't like) but I have never read one that I don't like.

I started reading Babylon Rising twice, and each time have put it down and not finished it...I should get that and read through it.
I just stopped at the library, they didn't have Gods and Kings- they had two others from the same author, so I will just wait until next time.
