Did you learn to drive when you were a teenager? Who taught you? If at school, what kind of driver's ed was it? If a friend or parent, where did you go to learn? What was the worse part about learning to drive?

I learnt after I was married. I mostly learnt with a driving school and I used to drive my Dad's automatic transmission car home from work (with him beside me) a couple of nights a week. The worst teacher was my (then) husband who constantly freaked out and totally undermined my confidence. I would never drive with him in the car even after I got my licence.

My worst experience was the very first time I drove myself to work after getting my licence. The traffic lights turned red as I approached. I panicked and stood on the brake and skidded the car around, ending up in the middle of the intersection. Not a good first time experience.
