What kind of program can help you pick your future kit colors for designing? Like a color match or scheme help? Obviously a free program would help :D but I wouldn't mind also purchasing a program like this. Any suggestions?

I found a fantastic color scheme program, it's called GenoPal. The price is extremely reasonable for what this program can do- $25. It can even work as a plugin to Photoshop, but I didn't like the way it worked as a plugin. They're coming out with a new version very soon which can do even more.

You can get it here: http://www.genopal.com/ - there is a free trial and an on-line version.

You could also try Adobe Lab's Kuler - http://kuler.adobe.com/ - all on-line and free.
I also find ColourLovers to be pretty good: http://www.colourlovers.com/
