Resizing

Hi there folks:wave:
I haven't been around here for quite a while and having had a quick tour of the site I can see I am going to be rather busy for a few days!!!!
My reason for stopping by is that I could really do with some advice.
Please can some one tell me if it is possible to resize jpegs in bulk with Photoshop7. I have lots of pictures that I need to reduce the file size and it would be so much easier if I could do them all together rather than individually. If it is not possible in PS7 can you tell me how I could do it.....I know I've heard some one say you can but I am at a loss. :confused:

Yes you can run batch actions to do many things including resizing
If you have a certain size you want to resize to - open the actions window - create a new action -press the record button and then perform the task on one image - then click the stop button .
Then you can go to file - automate and use that action to complete the task on the rest of the images
