 I am just starting out with this I have PsP and I just ordered the Pixal Magic and signed up for the class. But I want people to be able to see my stuff. I don't think my printer will print something as big as a 12x12 and I don't know.

Any help?

Well, I am a convert. I paper scrapped for 9 years at 12x12. When I went digital, I decided to try 8x8 and I LOVE them. They are a great size. Big enough to see everything when printed, but small enough to be easily handled even by children.

My old 12x12 seem so big and bulky to me now.

I too, started as a paper scrapper but I scrapped 8.5 x 11. After I converted to digital, I kept that format until just recently. Now I print at 8x8 and really love that format. I also have a duplicate 6x6 scrapbook for my office because people always want to see my latest LO is, but I don't want to bring my scrapbooks in all the time. My hubby likes to keep a few of my latest designs framed in his office to show off his family.

I have a wide format printer, as well as 2 other HP photosmart printers. I have printed 12 by 12, also have made about 6 8 by 8 albums which I love, 2 6 by 6 albums for my grandkids, which they just love, and also I have printed ABC albums at 3 by 3. I also scrap 4 by 6 and print these out as well. The 4 by 6 are quick and easy to do, and can be loaded to CD and printed for a great price if you don't want to print at home. Lisa Carter has just come out with some 4 by 6 quick clicks which will come in really handy when wanting to scrap 4 by 6. There are also instant albums which range in size from 12 by 12 , 8 by 8, a few 6 by 6, as well as 4 by 6.
The smaller sizes work just as well as the larger sizes...there is no "right size to scrap" or print, it's whatever you want to do and are comfortable with.

I have printed them in all sizes but I really do like the 8x8 but I just have a harder time finding scrapbooks that size - any suggestions?

I have my layouts professionally printed at 12x12 AND I print some at 8x8 at home. Either way, I love them!

Yes I'm an 8x8 fan too and I have no problems finding great looking scrapbooks to fit. I always scrap 12x12 and then resize for printing to 8x8. I just trim the excess off and am good to go. i still use 12x12 for my paper scrapping because that size is easier to work with than 8x8. But the 8x8 digital albums look fabulous.

I love all sizes - 8 x 8 my favourite probably. My two grandchildren love their layouts on a key ring (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=36418&cat=758) that I make for them :)

I scrap at 12 x 12 but have mine printed at Costco at 6 x 6 (you can fit 6 pages on their 12 x 18 photo paper for $3) You can't beat the price and the quality is good!

Actually, scrapping at 12 x 12, but printing smaller can help - on the screen things tend to look smaller than they would printed out - printing at 6 x 6 almost ensures that my brads still look like brads and not huge hulking metal things on the layout!
