I for one would love more hybrid projects and altered projects using digital products. I am always trying to make gifts and such and have a hard time using my digital products for it.

I would love to see:
No photo layouts [layouts that use something else rather than a photo]
Hybrids [might do some myself]
Childhood theme, where you scrap about your favorite toy or something like that.

Hybrid would be combing the best of digital and paper scrapping.
Creating a digital layout, printing it out, adding ribbons, glitter, buttons, etc. Making it a cross between digital and paper.
You can see some computer craft tutorials we have up for some ideas:

We will see about incorporating hybrid pages. These are some great thoughts, keep them coming!

Okay, just got back from that amazing gallery! Now I want to know a couple of things....
Did you print out the 12 x 12 full bleed and then add the ribbons, brads, etc?
What were the mechanics behind it?
Since I don't have a 12 x 12 printer, I suppose I can print an 8x8 and then add the embellies ...
Is there a tutorial or maybe an idea thread for doing hybrids?
Oh another question is how did you get the photos into the gallery? Did you scan them in? Doesn't look like a smushed up scan to me, so did you photograph it and then photoshop the background out of it?
Okay, I am done with all the questions now ... well, until I think of some more, that is!
A hybrid travel mini album would be great.

I am going on an annual scrapbooking retreat in the winter, and we each have to create scrapbook pages using photos from last year's scrapbook retreat. Most girls work with paper scrapbooking, but I like both paper and digital. So, I would like some inspiration on creating scrapbook pages of a past scrapbooking retreat. I've looked online and there are many scrapbooking retreat events throughout the U.S., but I have found very few inspiration pages that document such a fun getaway.
Being that this is a digital scrapbook website, I am assuming that not many people go to a scrapbook retreat to do digital scrapbooking, right? So maybe this is not the right place for this request... Thoughts?

sorry, missed your questions mel!
for the ones i helped with (i barely did anything!) we printed 12x12 full bleed on the epson r1800 then added the doo dads. you can embellish any size or kind of paper. no tutorial since there are gazillions of sites about using paper supplies. just print and add.
we photographed the pages hanging on a wall then cropped.
