Some commented at the added choices with five letters - here we go! You may change one letter but you MAY NOT change the order of the letters.
Examples:

and lets even be able to move the first or last letter to the other end
as in trips (this just may be more difficult than 4 - if we get stuck, drop a letter back to 4, change the order of the existing letters, or build back to 5 letters if dropped to 4).
