Here is my travel page (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=208397&cat=847). My ancestors did much of their travel on mules, and fortunately they had the good sense to figure that one of their descendants would need pictures of them some day to digiscrap, so I have quite a collection of mule pics. LOL! TFL!

I have a question. I remember someone in the chat one night said that to be considered "heritage," a LO has to have a photo that is at least 20 years old (or the subject of the photo should be at least that old). Is there a limit about that? My understanding of heritage is anything that depicts something (an object or a tradition) passed down from one generation to the next. I like to do LOs about traditions I'm passing down to my daughter, but I don't have many photos over 20 years old. I have very few pictures of my early childhood and virtually none of my ancestors (at least not in digital format or readily available), so I just try to start where I am. Anyway, if there is a guideline about this, could you please let me know? Thanks.

I don't really know what the actual definition of "heritage" is, but in the Heritage Chat we define it very loosely    - what you want to do is wonderful, we look forward to seeing your pages :)

If we stuck to any "strict" definition, a number of members would feel excluded - photos get lost, disappear whatever - its all about preserving memories!

My heritage travel pictures need scanning, still, but I thought I'd do a layout on trains - my grandad was a conductor for the Pleasureland Miniature Railway for years.

I feel like Laura Lou--it seems like forever since I've gotten one done for heritage!

Here's mine from the 1911 road trip: Flat Tire 1911 (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=208929&cat=847)

This is my heritage travel layout. The photographs are not great but I treasure them because there are so few childhood photographs with my Mom. She detested having her photo taken. She passed away at a young 51 years of age. http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=208972&cat=847

Well I wasn't going to do one this week because I couldn't find anymore old travel/holiday photos (that were any good) but I've just remember I did this one only a few days before last week's chat so I'm posting it again because the other one has to stay in the gallery it's in.
