Our challenge this next week is to do a Paper Style Page - you will find an article here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplce.com/university/articles/handscrappedauthenticity_sjs.shtml) which will help - take a look around the tutorials (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/tutorials.shtml) and articles (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/articles.shtml) here at DSP - they are a treasure trove :)

~ You must do a Paper Scrapped style page (depth, layers, shadows)

~ You must use my Stitched With Love - Slightly Untidy (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2486) stitching set. If it is not one you already own, I am confident that you will more than get your moneys worth, it is a set you will use again and again on your pages.

~ The kit you use is your choice - any of my kits, use a new one or use one from your stash :)

My page is the same page as I did for heritage - it is particularly apropos because I used the stitches as a representation of the childhood sewing I did when my headmistress was reading to me. I placed the needle in the book that had the most impact on me as a child:

I haven't had a chance to get to the store lately. You've got some really neat QC's, Meryl! Since we've got two weeks to work on it, I'm going to try to do a T42 again. I've missed this group a lot. And it sure has grown!

Sorry I can't help much Quanita. I'm not sure when the voting for T42 pages take place, but I always assumed it was during the chat. The T42 chats take place at 11 AM DSP time on Thursday. According to Meryl's challenge directions the layouts should be posted by noon on the day of the chat.....but that is a bit confusing, so to be safe, your page should probably be posted by noon DSP time the day BEFORE the chat. In other words, I guess your page should have been posted by noon on Aug 29 to be included in the poll that Cathie creates....wheich is then voted on in the AM chat on Aug 30. Meryl is 6 hours ahead of DSP time, so when it was Aug 29 here in DSP time, it was Aug 30 her time. It does get a bit confusing.....Sorry you were late for the poll!
