View Full Version : TNS - New Ideas & Inspiration?
Hello all you advanced scrappers! I'm gearing up for the school year (i.e. when I'll actually have time to work on the computer!), and I want to start lining up some new challenges and tutorials. That's where I need your help!
What techniques should we tackle? Where have you plateaued, and need a push up the creative mountain? Do YOU have a technique or style you would like to share with the rest of us?
Let's start a new list here in this thread. Let me know what would challenge you, or how you think you can challenge others. It's time to LEARN!!!

I am an idea free zone at the moment - but just thought what about some challenges where we could learn a post processing effect for a photo and then use that photo on a layout. I know there is a wide variety of software so that might be a limitation, but as a PSE4 user, I love trying out new techniques and workarounds and I love learning more!

That is a great idea, Sharon - I am interested in doing some of those 'photos into pencil sketches' type thing.
I used to find tuts all the time when I wasn't interested, but now I want to try it out, but no time to hunt for the tuts ... where does time go?

No ideas sorry but I could definitely do with some inspiration - I have a severe case of scrappers block at present.

You and me both Julia. I had a brief burst of activity earlier in the week and now it seems like I am back in hibernation. Sigh.

It must be an NZ thing going on as I feel the same as Sharon and Julia! Really hard to get anything going at the moment! Photo effects sounds cool to learn though, I play around with different effects but never really get anything like I am after! And things about using the pen tool in PS and making curled corners etc, I had a fight with that one the other night and didn't win! :)
