Prayer Vigil rota for the MORNING of 2nd September

If you would like to join in the DSP 24 hour prayer vigil please add your name to a slot for the hour of your choice. If someone else has already 'bagged' that hour, don't worry you can also jump in for the same time too. It might be that that hour is most convenient for you, maybe you will be at church or some other place of worship and would like to utilise that particular hour.

Our overall objective is to cover the whole 24 hour period though, and hopefully with the DSP membership covering the world we will be able to acheive this.

If you would also like to leave a prayer request please do so on the PRAYER REQUEST THREAD (http://digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=339298#post339298), then during your allocated slot you will be able to focus on all those people who are specifically asking you to pray for them or their loved ones.

Sands, I'm so sorry but it's not possible to change the vote. Which slot did you take? is it one that now has 2 people in it?

Yeah I voted for 1am to 2am, which now has two votes, but I can also do 2am to 3am, so that hour is covered.

OK, I chose 8-9am and question: We don't come here or anything... we just pray for the people on the list... correct??? I think this is a wonderful idea. If we don't make it for that time, does it really matter though as long as we pray sometime on Sunday???

Great that you are joining in nanaclaire and thank you. You don't have to be on DSP or anything like that during the hour you selected. What I plan to do is write all the prayer requests on some nice paper and place it by a candle and some flowers and then direct my thoughts towards everyone who has requested prayers during the hour.

It is important that you do pray during the hour you select, that way the prayer chain isn't broken for one minute during the whole 24 hours, however having said that as there are 5 people praying between 8 - 9 its not so important that you stick rigidly to the time slot IYKWIM.

I have signed up for 11am - 12pm. Now I will just have to find out what DSP time is compared to my own.
