I moved over an old LO of mine that used Tina's A Day in My Life kit. I need to use it again especially since it's IOTW.

When I think about a day in my life, I think of my kitchen because my day revolves around it now that I'm retired. Starting with the newspaper & great coffee and ending with my husband and I cooking dinner together, we make phone calls, work on our calendar, read books and generally spend most of our time in our kitchen. We even have a laptop computer and a small TV there. When we're not in the kitchen, we're often on the attached screened porch. What better kit for a kitchen layout than Kim's Java Friends!

COUNT ME IN - EVERYONE SAY IT WITH ME!!!
The single most IMPORTANT layout you can do (IMHO) is one on 'A day in my life'.
Whether you do a simple layout detailing your day in point form, or give a break-down of your time/a time line or round the clock layout, or a multiple photo snap-shot of your day... or a more in depth look at what you do and perhaps the reasons behind it... This is still the most valuable layout you can leave future generations.
Why you may ask? Because I believe it is the best way to show who you really are - that single slice out of your life layout - one that defines who you are AT THIS POINT IN TIME.
I know that a day in my life at the moment is dominated by surviving three little children, trying to do my work in the morning, keep my home running and still find time for me and my husband. TOTALLY different to how a day in my life looked when I was at school, or studying, or even in those years I was married BC (BEFORE CHILDREN) and will be when my children are older and eventually leave school.
(p.s. someone remind me why we have children?)
I know that a day in my life is totally different to a day in the life of women in the generations before... my day, at this age.... is totally different to a day in the life of my mom or her mom at the same age... Wars and time and location all change things too.
We should ALL be doing this one! I can't wait to see the layouts!

This is a great challenge. We spend so much time creating pages of the ones we love to remember them at different times in life but we forget about ourselves.
Here are two of mine layouts. Two very different days.
Just another day in paradise.
A Day in my life.
