Blog Prompt: Now that school has started back here, the big issue is the dress code. Do you agree with having a dress code and if so, who should determine what it should be? Should it be the principal, the school board, the students, the parents, the state dept. of ed or someone else?

I didn't update with the prompts either this time. But I did get a challenge posted for DSD-Pros in my business blog. Nothing new lately in my personal blog. I really must get back to that!

Hello...I've been MIA for a long time, but I've always been a fan of the blog prompts thread and have been lured back in by Pat's great prompts.

I just use one general, multi-purpose blog...it's sort of a mess, blogging about all of the different things I do, but at least this way it all gets recorded. I'm in awe of the bloggers who can keep current on 2 or 3 blogs.

Oh yeah...I'm updated. Have a great holiday weekend.

Mmmm I've been noticing all these blog prompts on the various blogs I've been visiting but didn't realise what it was exactly.

Can someone explain it all to me please? There are too many threads to be searching through them all. So is it just a 'get to know you' sort of thing? It looks like someone new gives the questions each month, is that right? And we get a question a day and we have to answer it on our blog then post to say we've done it in here?

HI dawn come and join us - I have been doing this off and on for three to four months - its great fun. It shows up under CHALLENGES (ONGOING) - look for Scrap Blogs.
Each day is listed under a different thread. There usually is a prompt for week days and nothing for the weekends. I only have one blog which you can see in the signature line - have a look. I have been reading yours once I found it.

Some of the topics I am coming back to scrap. I am known for posting photos each day on my blog - got to show them off somewhere.LOL
Will be looking for you.

the writing doesnt have to be excessive and I dont get everyday in. Just do what you can, as you can see I dont write a lot. I use it to hone my writing skills - after a lifetime of reports and memos at work, I am a bit rusty.

I try and go in there everyday and alot of my posts are very small. Just a few words to answer the prompt. Somedays I have alot to say, and some days (which is most) I have little to say.

Come and join us. You don't have to do this everyday. But it sure is fun reading everyones comments.

Oh and the prompts are great!! :yahoo:

Hi Dawn.
Hope you will decide to join us. As Joan mentioned, the prompts are just that... Something to help you jump off and into the waters. Many times they can be answered with just one or two sentences. Some of us (I am really guilty about it, except when I'm leading the prompts) save them up all week and answer them all in one post over the weekend. Some only do one a week, some even longer. There is no set pattern for you to have to conform to. So test the waters....
