I can't find a schedule for this event. Is it possible to attend part of it and still get something out of it? Or is the thing structured around a single teaching session that lasts the whole day? I mean, can I show up at noon and still find tutorials or classes that haven't started yet? Can I leave early and still be satisfied with the result?
Second question: I use Photoshop Elements on my desktop. Can I transfer the license to my laptop just for that one day?
I could also use GIMP instead of Elements. Last time I checked, Gimp was REALLY capable.
Best,

it's just a crop, so there isn't going to be classes. we'll just have fun challenges and prizes going on all day. some come when you can!
I believe you can install PSE on both your laptop and desktop under the same license.

Great! I'm really looking forward to it.
Kind of an aside: does anyone know what traffic will be like from Vegas to LA in the evening? i.e. how many hours? I'd like to drive up in the morning and drive back in the evening, although I'm told that's insane, especially coming back on a Sunday.

The drive is 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic, stops, etc.
I can tell you that driving back to LA from Las Vegas on a Sunday nite can be absolutely horrible. It can actually take twice as long. I've seen the freeway traffic come to a crawl for hours. If you can get a good price on a room, it's it worth it to leave Monday morning.

For whatever reason, I encountered virtually no traffic leaving Vegas around 11:00 PM and driving to LA. I guess that's after all the traffic has gone. Took four hours including a few stops. Mostly trucks on the highway. *&$^$ trucks.
I guess we consume so many resources, a continuous stream of trucks along any California highway is necessary for the economy.
