HERITAGE THEME: Shoes, Purses and/or Accessories Sept 6 to Sept 12

The theme for the week of Sept 6th to Sept 12th is:

SHOES, PURSES and/or ACCESSORIES

NOTE: We decided in the chat on 9/5 to expand the theme to include all accessories.....

This should be a fun topic. Perhaps you have photos of old fashioned shoes worn by your relatives, your own or your child's baby shoes....or even some old "heritage" shoes, purses, hats, etc. in your own closet! I can't wait to see these pages!

Thank you so much Sandy for taking care of Heritage whist I was away - you did a great job! I LOVE the idea of the Heritage Suggestion thread (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26379) that you started - :doh: why have I never though of that? :doh:!!! It is now stickied, so easy to find and add to as brainwaves strike.

Next weeks theme is Kitchens - a wonderful idea, I am so looking forward to seeing your pages!

A few thoughts and suggestions from the chat:
If you don't have photos of old kitchens challenge yourself to do a no photo page, lots of journaling!

Think of including pictures of things you may have FROM old kitchens:
old baking tins
utensils
aprons
recipes (I LOVE including the handwritten, loved and stained on my pages!)
Look on the internet for appliances etc



I hope this sparks off some great ideas! I look forward to lots of lovely warm kitchen pages from you.
