I want to learn how to make digital kits and have been trying to figure out where to begin. :)

Here are a few online course I can take. Do you think any of these sound like they might be the right course for learning digital kits?

Thanks for your input!

Photoshop CS3 for the Digital Photographer
Adobe Photoshop CS3 is a high-end software solution that provides support and specialized editing tools for digital photographers and graphic artists. In this class, we'll focus on how to select and use the professional techniques that are most helpful to photographers. Designed for those with no image-editing experience, this class will take students from novices to accomplished users.

Introduction to Photoshop CS2
If you want to work with graphics, Photoshop is the program you will most need to learn. This hands on, project-oriented course is filled with detailed step-by-step instructions you'll have no trouble following as you learn how to edit photos, create basic paintings, and prepare your images for printing. Discover how to improve photographs by removing flaws, correcting for poor exposure, or adding new elements. You’ll even learn how much fun it can be to paint again without the mess to clean up. And, best of all, no prior artistic ability is required to take this course.

These courses aren't designed to teach you how to create scrapbooking graphics. Take the classes that we offer here...that's what our specialty is :)

If you're already familiar with creating layouts with Photoshop, you're probably well beyond even an Introduction to Photoshop class. But if you haven't - then that's always a good place to start. It'll be full of basic skills.

I took the Introduction to Digital Scrapbooking with Photoshop from Emma, and it was a GREAT class. It teaches not only the basics of using your software, but you make scrapbook pages as you go, so you're learning the specific skills needed to create layouts.

After that, Lauren and Emma teach several classes that will be key to learning to creating scrapbook kits that rival those sold by Designers. Well, that you can at least begin to dream about rivaling them. :)

You can see all the classes offered here at DSP at this link:

Brushwork, backgrounds, beginning and advanced element creation, paths, layout design, and more are all covered in various classes.

Now that life has finally calmed down for me, I'm hoping to enroll in some more classes again!
