Do you crop your pictures before you get started with your layouts or do you crop and zoom as you go along? I was just playing with the photos I think I want to use and can't decide if it would be faster to do them all at once before I start my layout. Would like to hear from others if they prefer one way to the other and why. Thanks

I never know what size my photos are going to be on my page until i start going, so i crop inside my layout.

I almost always crop "in" my layout... don't know why, I just do. :)

I never crop before - so often I have found I want maybe the exta space to add word art, journaling etc, and what will look good together on a page, my advice is no, leave them as they are!

I mostly crop after I put the photo in the layout, but sometimes I know ahead of time that I want the photo cropped a particular way or want a filter on it and then it's easier to do before I put it in the layout.

By the way if you crop before putting in the layout, you need to be really careful you don't save the cropped version replacing your original photo.

I didn't know you could crop in the layout! I thought I had to have my picture... perfect in its own window before dragging it over. I tried to crop one layer inside my layout before and it didn't work. I would love to know how to do it in PSCS3.
