View Full Version : Pip/dip
I'm started a thread on each of the (main) programs.
I'm interested to know the highs and lows of each program, how happy you are with your program, or what you'd rather have. Thanks!

I have been using DIP9 since February, after upgrading from PIP 2002 and I love it. I love that I can now use plug-ins and do some of the awsome effects I've seen others do. It's hard to discuss highs and lows since these are really the only packages I've used consistently. But I find that I can duplicate many of the effects in LOs that were done in PS or PSP. The learning curve is very low which is good, because as a mom to a toddler with one on the way, I don't have a lot of time to figure things out. I just get in, do a page or two and get out.
I do wish that there were a little more photo editing options and I also wish there were more tutorials out there for it. Oh yeah, and it had actions -- isn't that what they're called in PS, where you can record what steps were taken to achieve a certain look. I like that idea, 'cause sometimes I just can't remember.

Lawanna, not sure if you've seen this one, I just recently stumbled upon it, www.marysgraphics.com she has some really awesome tutorials there, which helped me to up my DIP designs. Of course, www.scrapbook-bytes.com also has many tutorials geared specifically to DIP users. I hope this helps. ~ Amy
