DS is a senior this year! I HATE the Josten's senior memory book our school has offered previous years--and the students don't actually receive the memory book at our school until about March when the official school graduation announcements are delivered. WAYYYYYYYY too late in my opinion! I've surfed the web for other brands of memory books, and haven't come up with anything better. I have "MY" Josten's memory book from when I was a senior in high school. I didn't care for mine--very lame, and half of the topics/pages don't apply to kids--and not much has really changed! There was a page for "personal data, class schedule, phone numbers--ahhhhhhhhhh, before cell phones--lol!, fall sports, homecoming, news--local/national/world news, school band, music, prices, movies/tv, fashions, winter sports, drama/self expression, hobbies, spring sports, spring dance, vacations/trips, books, exams, graduation, the future, and a few pages for autographs, photos and cards" (not many get those personalized name cards anymore!) So I'm looking for ideas on a digitally done senior memory book. Probably more like a scrapbook format, to scraplift! Do you fellow senior parents have anything to share or thoughts about this??? (My senior's a boy--not into journaling etc, as my daughter was.) I'd love to have a link(s) to any type of samples you know of! The third week of his senior year is almost complete here--his senior year is already going fast!!

Hello There,

I don't have a child old enough to be a senior, but I am making a yearbook for our youth football league. I am creating pages with digital scrapbook supplies and then laying the book out in MS Publisher as a 8.5" x 11" booklet.

I went to Office Max to check on pricing, and for full color on semi-glossy 32# paper (not photo paper) it will cost about $40 per book. (Needless to say, I have to choose black and white printing on matte paper for our league because it is much cheaper, and we need about 180 copies.) But it's good to know the prices for color/glossy in case I want to try a project for myself.

Anyway... I thought this info might be helpful in some way for you.

Unfortunately, i can't point you in the direction of any samples. I am just working from what our little league did for their kids. Maybe you could check with some local youth sports leagues and see if they have any samples for you.
