This weeks Encore! Encore! Challenge is Once Upon A Time....

I find myself always grabbing my camera to catch those perfect shots of what is going on in my life now. But there is so many old photos laying around in boxes in my basement or in files on my computer that I have never scrapped because they aren't from "Now" So my challenge to you is to break out those "Then" photos. Heritage photos, baby photos of your now grown children, maybe your wedding photos, or something that you want to remember and haven't yet scrapped!

I've been eyeing that kit for my wedding photos for quite a bit now. It's in my wishlist. I've been married over 2 years and am just now starting to scrap those photos! This is perfect for me! Hmm...the theme gives me an idea. Off to scan!

Got the kit. Off to scrap it. Got a couple of challenges to do by the end of the week, so it might take me a bit. Just finished my IOTW layout. That took me all morning! :) Was babysitting my best friend's daughter (who is 11 months old, just like my daughter). Needless to say, it's been a very busy morning!

Shawn- don't worry about it! The inspiration, is just that, inspiration...if you create a layout in a totally different direction, that is just fine!!! I just put out some inspiration to give you something new to think about! You can always take or leave it!!! And if anyone has some ideas on or tips on what makes YOUR layouts POP, then send me a quick PM! I would be interested in having "guest" instructors in future chats or challenges, that can give us some new tips or ideas!!!!

I didn't follow the inspiration, but instead combined the kit with Freestyle Fandango... what a gorgeous kit it is too!! Love the rich, elegant feel of it!!

This was a great kit to work with--simple, elegant, & rich, all in one easy package. I love pink & green together and this turned out to be perfect for DD's high school graduation picture. Since she's a musician, I may try to replicate your memo board idea with music-themed ribbons. But even if I don't I'm loving this LO. Thanks!
