Here is one more. I made this one when my daughter was 9 weeks old. I had spent 9 weeks with her, never being separated and it was time to go back to work. I was sad to leave her at day care. I had devoted my every waking (and sleeping) second to her. I couldn't imagine devoting my time anywhere else.

This layout shows a phenomenon that I discovered years ago - how animals of different species have devotion to each other. I have a cat who LOVED a dog I had and he truly grieved along with me when she died. This layout shows a kitty and a horse, with a similar relationship:

One of the New Year's resolutions that I made this year was to devote a lot of energy to living authentically - peeling away whatever the layers are until I get to the real me. It's taken A LOT of devotion to stick with that resolution - and it may take longer than just this year to complete the journey:

During the month od September, I spent many a morning out at the new race track watching the horses train. I was there before the sun was - many of the outriders who were do the morning workouts told me I must be a really devoted racing fan - I told them my devotion lay with the horses.

here is mine! Glad I found this link again!
I am still trying to navigate my way around and find my place back, lol! Sometimes life gets away and so do my weeks.
This layout perfectly describes the Devotion that HAD to go into making it. It took me nearly 2 days to get close to being done (this quick click is bogging down for me when i enter the pictures in)....then my power went off and it was GONE!!! I was soooo bummed, but it gave me reason to change a bunch of things and I loaded up the papers and text (that I had already figure out) and got it all ready, then did the fun on the pictures. It took much devotion to stick with it!
I really like how it turned out though, i guess you can see the creative side of my coming out.

Rowenta- it looks awesome! So glad you found the challenge. QCs will do that depending on how many layers they are. They sometimes bog down my computer too, but they are pretty quick and fun to work with!
