I have PSP 9 and I can't seem to crop a photo once it is in a lo.
Everytime I try to crop a photo it cuts out everything else. Can I just not adjust the picture after I have put it in the lo? And does anyone know of any tutorials on masks? I would like to use them but do you have to apply the mask to a picture before you put it in the lo as well? One more question, sorry I didn't know I had so many when I started this thread. Can you edit journaling after it's applied e.g. change the color or wording or do you have to start over. I'm new to this and these are the things I haven't figured out yet. Thanks for any help! :)

Everytime I try to crop a photo it cuts out everything else.Good girl, BerryGirl, asking here before getting too frustrated! To crop something already on a layout, ie crop just ONE layer, use the Selection Tool. Draw the selection around the photo, Select>Invert and Delete. PSP can do just about anything you can think up!
And does anyone know of any tutorials on masks?Yep! I wrote one:

Not exactly the "loading" a mask that you're thinking of. But the basic concept is the same. Put a mask over your photo, then paste the black/white mask onto the mask layer. There's another way to do it too, fi that doesn't work for you.
Can you edit journaling after it's applied e.g. change the color or wording or do you have to start over.Depends, you have to create text as a vector to be able to edit it later. Check out the First Page tutorial in PSP under Text (section 5 and 6)to see what I mean:

You're getting it! Keep at it :) Also, my PSP 130 class answers all these questions and more. I think it's running again in January and February. Click the images in my sig line to see the list and schedule
Hope this helps!
