Places You Remember Challenge (Deadline Monday, Oct 15, 07)

THE CHALLENGE:
The theme this time is to scrap memorable and favourite places. There are so many places that are special and important to our lives and memories it would be good to record some of them. It could be a lovely view of favourite place, your home, places you love to walk, a vacation spot, your children's school, your hometown or beautiful buildings or your garden. Interpret the theme in whatever way inspires you. The title is from the Beatles song, "There are Places I Remember all my Life".

DEADLINE: You have until Monday, Oct 15, 07 Midnight EST to post your layouts.

KITS: You may use any kit, preferably a DSP kit, and please ensure you provide proper credit and use keywords where available. There is lots of great word art available in the store for inspiration as well.

GALLERY: Post your LOs to Odds n Ends Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3365) (you may double up for other challenges and post in other galleries but we would love you to post here when possible) However, you MUST POST A LINK to your LO in this thread whether it is posted in the gallery or not. NOTE: Only new LOs will be eligible for the draw but you are welcomed to post older LOs for us to see

PRIZES: There will be 3 prizes which will be drawn after the deadline. All new layouts for the challenge will be entered in a draw for 3 gift certificates to the DSP Store good for $3.99, $2.99 and $1.99 each. Enter as many times as you want. :)

I was in Italy and walked up as close as possible to Mount Etna in Italy!
You can see near the bottom some of the remains of the lava that is still there from the last eruption. (kind of white stuff)

If I find more pictures of Italy may make another layout. Italy is for sure one of the places I will always remember.

I'm spoilt for choice for favourite walking places. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and a World Heritage Site coastline. Hengistbury Head is a plce we return to time and again.

Here is my layout for the challenge: Ding Darling (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=218521&nocache=1). This is from a day trip we took to Sanibel Island. We went through trails at JN Ding Darling wildlife refuge. It was the first time the three of us have gone together. It was a great day and one to remember.

Gatlingburg, TN. is one of my most favorite places to vacation, although I did end being hauled by ambulance to the hospital the last time we were there! :eek: :eek:
