PSE5.0 Adult Ed classes in Albert Lea MN

Albert Lea Community Education program is offering two classes (Saturday, March 1, 2008) on Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. Both classes are taught in the computer lab..taught interactively so you work along with the instructors!

Intro to Digital Scrapbooking

Learn the basics in this class and in the process you'll create a 12" x 12" digital scrapbook page using 5-9 of your own digital photos (Bring them along to class).
9am to Noon for only $25
Intermediate Digital Scrapbooking - Another Step

Learn how to make your own templates, remove unwanted objects from photos, make your own papers and embellishments.
1pm - 4pm for only $25
They offer a DEAL :yikes: if you sign up for both classes ... you pay only $45.
NOTE: Both instructors bring a sack lunch so anyone attending both classes is invited to do the same and use the lunch hour to get some extra tutoring or work on a personal project. :tup:

This is a great opportunity to learn, be inspired, and to connect with others who have a passion for preserving memories.

Albert Lea is located at the crossroads of I35 and I90 so it is very easy for many midwestern dwellers! (Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and the Dakota states!)

NOTE FROM THE OCT 2007 CLASS:
Nine gals in the morning session and 5 in the afternoon and DID WE HAVE FUN! It's going to be exciting to see what they can do now that they "Took the Digital Plunge"!

We sent them all to DSP to explore the freebies, the tutorials, and the fantastic supplies in the store...so perhaps we'll see them popping up in the galleries soon!

Thanks to everyone at DSP who work so hard to help this community (forum) running so smoothly and to everyone IN the community for being the fantastic resource that you are! Never have to worry about recommending newbies to this place...we know they will be well received.

I will periodically be updating the initial POST to this thread when new classes are scheduled through Adult and Community Ed programs. Any replies posted in this thread should probably be read by viewing the most recent posts first.

I"ll be starting to teach classes in the Hartland/Howell/Brighton Michigan through Hartland library and Hartand Community Education in February. I'm really looking forward to sharing my photoshop digital scrapbooking skills with my "neighbors" .

I've updated the initial post in the thread with the next dates for Albert Lea...Saturday March 1, 2008. The Intermediate Class will cover different topics than they covered last fall...this way students from last fall may continue their learning!
