I am new to digital scrapbooking. I want to make my pages 12 X 12 but I don't see this as an option. What am I missing?

If you're working in DIP9, go to:

File>New - under Select A Canvas Size, use Custom and manually insert 12 into the width and height and hit Done. If you want, before you click Done, you can go into View Advanced Options and change your resolution (I scrap at 200 and 300 - but beware - scrapping a 12x12 at 300 will be pretty slow!!)

HTH!

12x12 is a custom size in any software. When you create a New Image, manually type in the size, width 12 inches, height 12 inches, resolution 200 pixels per inch (not per centimeter, use 80 pixels per centimeter)

Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro allow you to save custom sizes as presets. Does DIP allow this?

I'm not aware of a way to save a 12x12 as a "preset" per se. Instead, this is what I do: In DIP9, create your 12x12 canvas as I posted before but before you start building your layout, save your blank 12x12 canvas as an element in and of itself (I saved one as 12x12-200-blank and another as 12x12-300-blank). Then, anytime I want to do a 12x12 layout at 200 resolution, I just open DIP9, go under File>Open and browse for that canvas, open it, and I'm good to go.

Does that make sense?
