We so easily take change for granted, but think of the changes in your lifetime - internet, tv, computers, cameras, gps so you don't get lost.... the list goes on! This suggestion came originally from sandygb in the Suggestions for Heritage Themes (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=363582#post363582) - do read her post and further for great ideas. Thanks so much Sandy!
Do read the guidelines for posting (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26806) before posting your page :)
I think a very interesting topic - and I look forward to great pages :)
The topic to follow this one is "Letters" - so you can be thinking and scanning :)

Meryl, we had already chosen 'careers' for this week's theme and you posted a new thread about it here (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27107).
So was 'careers' thrown out and replaced or did you all forget - gosh I don't know, I can see I need to get back into chat very soon to keep you all in order :ron:

Oh golly gosh Dawn - yes come back quickly!!! Actually, someone did mention that we had selected careers, sssnoo I think? then we decided we had done it recently (Labor day?) so picked a new one. So sorry, hope nobody had begun work on it! I have now deleted the thread to avoid any more confusion.

Oh that's good thanks Meryl, I hadn't started on mine yet, as per usual  I hope to be back by next week but it's still no go.

I am so discouraged! I had a block-buster layout almost done for Worship...starring a bulletin from the USS Missouri in 1918 while my dad's cousin was serving World War I...then my computer objected to so much running at the same time and PFFFFFFTTT...I lost it!
It may be a while before I do this again. I will be in Branson for the next week.

Here is "our" (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=219926&nocache=1) post. The DSP member who helps Lisa with her layouts is posting here on behalf of Lisa today.
This was such a fun picture to work with. I told Lisa that I needed some text for the layout and she gave me this quote from her book. The quote actually comes from her real Grandmother. I feel that the discovery found within the quote is in keeping of this week's challenge. It's about change. The change we struggle with and the change embrace.
Lisa has met many wonderful people and mentioned to me once that many women struggle with some of the changes in their lives.
We all go through them. Let's try harder to embrace them.
Last night, Lisa commented to me, "I'm so thrilled with all the DSP comments. It seems like such a nice community of friendly, creative people, and the fun thing is that readers and other people can chat and connect in such a unique way--you know that already, of course. I can't wait until I can clear some of these killer deadlines and spend more time on there.:love3: "

And mine--
Hearing Changes (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=220751)
I just barely got one in. I wasn't going to do one, but Scamp made me. LOL! I found an article in the paper about me when I was a Senior in High School. I ran the "computer" in the guidance office. It's funny to think about it now.
After I did mine, I went and looked at the gallery and saw that Laura had the same idea and we both even extracted a lap top and put them in the same place on our pages. LOL!
This is the first time I used Meryl's Country Fresh kit and it was so easy to use. The page just fell together! Thanks, Meryl!!
Oh, I suppose I should give the link, huh?

Although I haven't been able to get with the themes lately, I am getting some of my heritage book done. I'd love some CC if anyone cares to give it.
