I am a total novice to digital scrapbooking so apologise if my question is very basic.
I made my first layout using photos saved from my digital camera and everything worked as it should. For my next layout I want to use some photos that were taken several years ago on an ordinary camera. So I scanned them on my scanner (it is only a basic one - Epson Perfection V100 Photo). I scanned at 300 dpi.
The problem is that when I open the photos in PSE 5 they appear too small on the canvas. They are only one quarter of the size of the square block with the diagonal lines. So the white three quarters blocks out any other photo I want to add. And I don't know how to make them any larger. I tried scanning at 600 dpi but it didn't make any difference.
I would really appreciate any advice or assistance so that I can learn what I am doing wrong.
