Margie? Kim? Lauren? Amanda? Hellllllooooooo out there.....
Anybody who attended the laptop crop at Memory Trends?
Blogs, forums, chats, oh my... I'd like to connect back up with you all online, but how? Where? Which thread? How do I find you?
I'm the woman who works for Best Buy and was the Sr. Buyer for our concept store called Studio D. You had some great questions for me and I actually have some info to share!!!
For one, this week in our ad, we are featuring a bundle with Epson's new V500 scanner & new SP1400 Wide Format Photo Printer for $399.98 - that's after $200 instant savings. I thought that was pretty cool. Granted the scanner isn't wide format, but it's a start.
Did anyone see the ad? What did you think? I have more to tell you but first I want to figure out how to be part of the gang chattin' on line. I dont' have a blog, I don't have a gallery, I don't have a have a cool screen name... I'm oh so unhip. :) You'd think that working at BBY I'd be a little more with it.

Hey Jennifer! I was there - - and I sat near you - - I'm the one with the crazy orange hat (but not Kim...she just wore my crazy orange hat and looked might cute in it too!)
I'll shoot Margie, Amanda, et all a message too to make sure they see this post and get back to you!
You've got a user name and a DSP account now so that is the first step! Just explore the galleries and feel free to join in on any conversation that interests you. Then, when you have some pages, we can help you upload them so we can all see!
Welcome to DSP!!!

Hi! Yes, of course I remember you! How could I forget? I have your trading cards after all. :) Thanks for the message - I left a message for Margie but also told her that I'd try to figure this out myself. :) Good to know that it worked.

Hi Lauren! Wouldn't that be nice? Best Buy in New Zealand? I'd sign up to help with the grand opening for sure. ;) I think I might have mentioned to you that my sister, brother-in-law and the two loves of my life (my nieces) are going to be in New Zealand for a month because her company is giving her a sabatical. I'm SO jealous. They just got it approved and they are going in Feb or March.
Thanks for the message - I will just keep at it I guess. If I have info to pass along to the ladies from the crop (or for any of the members for that matter) as far as letting them know that we have added model "XYZ" printer or 12x12 paper, what "area" of the site do you recommend?

There is a forum called Tools - that would be a good place for new products and things like that - http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=285
Let me know when your sister is coming over and if shes going to be in Auckland

fyi, the 1400 is the 6 cartridge with dye based inks. what we had at the crop is the 1800, 8 cartridge with pigment based inks. both are tested to last ~200 years and both print beautifully!

A really good place to post would be:
The Granny Thread (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13201&goto=newpost)
Many of the people who were at the crop are part of the thread, it is one of the largest, longest running threads on the site. I've warned them you might be posting.
:)
NOW - we have got the wide format printer taken care of... when will you start carrying the paper :):):):)

Hi Jennifer - I met you at the event and I even live in Vegas! I have the large format Canon i9900 but will soon be in the market for a new scanner so will welcome any information that you pass on to us.:) :)
Welcome, Jennifer! I was one of the infamous grannies at the Las Vegas crop.
We all thought you were hooked on the digi-scrapping! Glad to see we were right. You'll love it here -- the website is just as friendly as the crop was.
Also, delighted to see a followup from someone who was at the chat representing a business. Best Buy already gets quite its fair share of my money, so I'm glad to see that you carried through on your promise to stay in touch.
