Is there going to be any crops/event during CHA (Anaheim) in February? I know one person who has already bought a ticket, but I'm too chicken to do that without dates and places. Any news on that? :ron:

Thanks Kim. I had a blast too! Everyone was sooo Nice and I made some great friends there! Now that I know I don't have to be nervous about it, I want to do it again. I'd like to see you guys again and it may be my only way to actually meet more wonderful people like you!
It seems like there were dates and info way before LV happened and I wasn't seeing anything for February, so I was wondering.... Then Scamp told me she'd booked a ticket! That took GUTS! I'm hoping there's some info coming soon - the further ahead you book tickets the cheaper they are.

Hoozie, CHA's website has the show dates listed for February 10 - 13. As to when people want to gather and meet, I have no idea. Probably the week before.
Here's the link to their site:

Hoozie, I think most of us are planning to get together in Anaheim that weekend even if we set it up on our own. Especially since "someone" (the one who pretends to be clueless) has her ticket and Cathie will still be staying with Lynnie (I think).
I'm not sure if I can make the one in Vegas but am planning to be in Anaheim no matter what. Would love to do both but don't think I can make it happen.

Well I won't be able to go to either, unless my DH has a change of heart. I got laid off Halloween day and we're trying to get ready to move to another town. He's willing to spend money on what he want's to do (Blue Man Group tickets for 5 when we're only 3), but kinda got angry when I merely mentioned there was another crop happening in Las Vegas. So.....[heavy sigh]....it doesn't look good. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d142/hoozieg/Smilies/Weeping.gif

Well, as the one who shall remain--Omi! I'm not clueless!! Just too impulsive sometimes!! Anyway--I am definitely going to be in Anaheim, and am opening myself to the possibility of being in Vegas as well. We shall see, as Carma says!
When I booked Anaheim, I did it with the full knowlege that there might not be a crop, and am looking forward to being in California for the first time in about twenty years! I want to see the ocean, and Cinderella. Think we can make that happen?
Hoozie, I am going to hold good, positive thoughts for you. I'm hoping that your situation improves, and that all gets better in your life. Big hugs.   One can never tell what will happen--here's hoping you'll find a way that works for you!

I am for the Anaheim.... Love to go to Vegas, but I am not sure yet.... If you guys get together, please count me in.
I'm sad I missed out on Anaheim last year 'cause w/o a DSP display there this year I won't be going :( BUT the Memory Trends/PMA in Vegas will have a DSP-sponsored crop!
Are you going to organize a CHA crop anway, just privately, or maybe if you harrass Margie they'll do that again. I mean, you don't have to have a booth to host a crop, right? :D

yes, you actually do, to get any of the meeting rooms anywhere in the area. cha has to approve any meeting rooms in all of the centers and hotels for miles. :annoyed:

Hopefully, we harrass you enough Margie to have another crop in Anaheim again.....Let's tell Lauren about the wonderful places in California...

oh Lauren loved ca! we'll probably be back to anaheim in the future, or maybe elsewhere in california... :D
so you can't even have a crop that weekend even if it's not affiliated with CHA at all?! Just a "come crop" even at another hotel isn't allowed?! Wow, talk about a coup!

they have a total monopoly. you'd have to have your tupperware party approved! :D

I will also be at the CHA show as a retailer. My plans are to go from LV to CA for a week of rest and sun. I could get a timeshare property that could have several people stay in. If anyone is interested in this let me know and I will start to check it out this week-end.
