Thanks so much to all of you who made it to the chat today - we had such an international crowd - Africa, Asia, Australia, America (funny!!! all A's!) were represented. The internet sure shrinks our world! It was smaller chat than usual, many out trick or treating was our guess!
   The winner of our "Old Letters" topic was Vickimp for her lovely The Love Letter (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=220787) - well done Vicki, your voucher for a page kit is on its way to you!
The topic for next week is "Tragedies and Disasters" - these may be personal or world events. Looking forward to lots of lovely pages!

Sorry I waited so long, but finally, here's my two page spread for this week (seems I can never fit everything on one page anymore!)
These pages are about the Flu Epidemic of 1918. The first page is about our Country in Crisis (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=223489) and the second page is about our Family's Fate (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=223490).
Several children died in my other grandfather's family, also. I'm going to call my aunt today and have her tell me about that again and I'll do another page for that heritage album as well. If/when I get it done, I'll upload it here, too.
Meryl, I absolutely LOVE this Days of Nostalgia kit. If you girls don't already have it, run straight to the store and buy it. It's Lovely!!!

Yes, but I waited longer! :D Actually, this turned in to one of those stayed-up-too-late and late-to-work layouts--it took on a life of it's own!
Gangster Days (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=223696), and Gangster Days page two (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=223697)...This story will also someday have an album of its own!
OK, here's my page 3 about my Dad's side of the family and the flu that killed two of my paternal grandfather's siblings.

I waited too long. I have several stories to contribute but haven't decided how to do the pages. Much of my information is on a videotaped interview that I need to rewatch and take notes. However, I'm very impressed with Vicki's and Scamp's layouts! I may still do these and post them here although they will be too late for this challenge, because, after looking at Vicki's and Scamp's layouts, I can see the value of passing along these stores.
