January Swap

Anyone up for a January Swap??? I need 2 volunteers to share their pictures with the members...so that we can scrap them for you.

When we scrap a layout out of the swap photos, do those providing the photos want a full sized layout sent to them or do they just get inspiration from the minis that we upload?

It depends I don't usually send mine and I typically do them in lower resolution to save room on my computer...I've found that they just provide specific inspiration for the member....But obviously you can arrange to send a high quality jpg...or something like that to the person you are scrapping for.

I have some pictures from when we went to the Gulf of Mexico on the Florida Panhandle in January that I would love to see what everyone else would do with them.

Is posting here the right thing to do to volunteer photos? :-)

I am new to this! I've been doing some digital scrapping, but without all the cool elements, etc (just basic squares, shadows, etc). I'd like to learn more, and the swap sounds interesting. Please tell me how it works!

Basically how it works is that 1-2 people supply pictures that the rest of us scrap them! Usually the pictures are ones that are hard for the person to scrap...ones they can't really get a feel for. And most of the time the others that scrap them really can produce a really great layout.

I'm new here, too. I have a couple of pictures from my kids' adoption days that I would love to have scrapped to gain inspiration from others. How many pictures do you want and what size do you want them? Do I email them to you or upload them to the gallery somewhere?

Have you already received the amount of swappers needed for Jan? My son's b-day part is Saturday, and I am sure I will have great pics from that. But maybe I wil have to wait till next month?

I'm going to be away for the next week so I won't get to see the layouts as they get posted ... I can't wait to see them when I get back though! Mandy did a TREMENDOUS job with these pictures!!

Now I'm off to winter wonderland up in the Southern Rockies! Will I survive without internet access????

Did I do something wrong here or are my pictures that bad or ... are y'all busy just scrapping your own pages? I really learn a lot from seeing how other people scrap the same pictures so I'd love to see some more .. please?
