This weeks Encore! Encore! Challenge is What Brightens Up Your Life?

Inspiration:
Tell me or show me what brightens up your life? Maybe it is your spouse, your kids, a certain object, maybe it is a story about a close friend...whatever it may be, scrap a layout and show us "what brightens up your life?"

Ideas:
~need some inspiration...try a scraplift!
~heavy emphasis on journaling
~one large photo to showcase that special someone

Having our friends (Mike & Gloria and Bill & Stephanie) join us on our 35th anniversary cruise really brightened our day! That I'm almost done with this album brightens it even more! I loved working with the colors, textures, & elements in this kit.

Can I still join in??? I would love to join in. Is it just one layout we post??? I just bought your LilBird kit and I already know what I can do for the bonus!

My favorite thing to do is to take pictures of my grandkids and in the case of the layout below, receive them! Jake lives in California (we are in Michigan). We plan to visit them early next year and I can't wait to see him!!! in person!!!

Hopefully it isn't too late to post a LO for this round. I love this kit and think I could scrap all day with it! Since I really need to get my friend's album done that I am working on for Christmas, I did another page for it. Seeing the beauty of Alaska, especially the sunsets and rainbows here definitely brighten up my day and remind me why I chose to live here!

*I have now added a companion page (it's actually going to be page one in my album) as we took all these pictures on the same day, I wanted them to all match. That and I just LOVE this kit Nicole! Here's both links so you can see both pages. I don't know how to upload a double layout yet, so they are two separate ones right now.

I LOVE your animals (especially Norm!)--head to toe--the coloring, the expressions, everything!
I know you didn't exactly open yourself up here for suggestions, but I've seen a few here so I thought I'd throw my request in the mix!
I'd so love to see a Lil' Froggy (sitting, leaping, eating, whichever) Page Kit---maybe in some crisp shades of greens, blues, purples. Maybe with a few flying flies, flying trails and all. You know, just in case you're bored sometime. :D

*giggle* Norm is not the bird. He's Nicole's chat pet---he's a really HUGE hit! I'll leave to Nicole on whether she wants to show him off here or just save him for chat.

Whew! I didn't think I would get done in time! Today is my son's 9th birthday and it has been nuts today! I had to squeeze in time to finish up because I LOVE that darling kit Nicole is giving us for the bonus!!!:tup:

Here's my layout! I wanted to use more of the kit but I decided that the layout just wouldn't be the same with a lot of stuff added to it, so I kept it simple. Plan on doing another one later with more of the kit. It's such a cute lil' kit!!!!

I wanted to let you know that there will be another Upside Chat mid-December. Right now I have them schedule for every other month!
