I got this link in my email today. The HP Kiosk is located in Meijer and Target stores in the locations I looked at.....four different sizes of photobooks (including 12x12!!!) and ready to pick up in an hour!

Here's the link for more info and a store locator:

That's interesting! There is one at a store about 45 miles from me. I'll have to check it out the next time I am there. Thanks for the info Gail :)

Thank you for this info Gail. There is actually one of these kiosks near me too.
With all these options now I bet we see some prices come down on this type of product.

Hmmm, I wonder how much it costs - I didn't see that listed. AND I wonder how big the posters are!

I was surprised to find one in my little town too. I'm going to check out the pricing at the location. I imagine it it somewhat like a franchise of the HP equipment so pricing might vary. It's an interesting option and convenient if the quality/price work.

Hi SusanG - I played the overview thing on the link gail posted and on one of the screen it gave some prices but the window was soooo tiny I couldn't really see what the prices were very clearly. I think it said books starting from $7, posters from $17 and calendars $25? We already did our shopping for the week and with gas over $3/gal, as excited as I am, I can't really justify a trip into town. But you can better believe I'll be swinging by the photo counter next Friday! -c-

I know what you mean about conserving trips to the store. $7.00 seems low for a photo book. Most of the other options are in the 19.99 and up range. I'll have to go back to the site (Thank you gail for such a great bit of info and resource).

Funny thing to me...I live in the biggest city in the state, but they don't have one near me. :(

I thought $7 for a book was pretty inexpensive too! Maybe your younger eyes can make out the price and post it back here for us ol' fogies! -c-

My husband and I both looked and we thought it said $7, too.

I think it says from $7. I take that as the starting cost to get you interested. But it looks cool. I will have to check out the details at the store near us.

Update: I dragged my dh over to Longs Drugs near us, where they have the HP kiosk. They had examples of the books and posters and calendar (all except the 12/12 book) I asked the young man at the counter if he was familiar with the set up and the prices and he said no because we just got it installed. Ahhhh, ok, but they have a very nice and informative hand out with prices. The 12x12 books are 25.95 for 10 pages (hard bound) and 19.95 soft bound, 8.5x11 is (extra pages are 1.17 for the hd book with a max of 90 pages, $49.35US for the 12x12 and 98 cents per page for the 8.5 x 11. If you'd like poster or calendar pricing, PM me.

Hey SusanG - TY for checking things out! I'll see what the Walmart here has to say on Friday when we go shopping and post it back here. -c-
