AU, QLD, South Brisbane Crop?

Hi Guys,

I have access to a Community Hall and would be interested in organising a Laptop Crop once a month or so. How many people would be interested in coming? What nights or weekend days would suit?

Well I'd be there as often as I could - sounds like a great idea. A weekend day would probably be best for me but will work with whatever gets most votes.

If anyone can be in Brisbane soon, I was thinking of organising one at my house, until we have numbers big enough to need to use the hall.

So during February, any night or weekend except Wednesday and Thursday. Any takers?

oh oh i just found this thread...cool idea..i would love this...but it will have to be a weekend for me because of work...count me in...just let me know which weekend well in advance and i will organise something...long weekends sound good..now to convince hubby that we need to go to brissie for the weekend...lol...Cheers liz

I would love to join in on this, I would not be able to go every month as it is still a reasonable drive from where I live but I am sure I can make some of them! ;-)

Weekend's are best for me as I work full time... Friday or Saturday nights would be easiest. Sunday I may be able to do but would depend how late it got as I would have to work the next day.

Actually, you know what.. if any of you SE Qld'ers felt like driving to Toowoomba, I would more than likely be able to use our work conference room in evenings or weekends.

So if anyone is up for a trip to the big town on the hill, providing it is ok with the partners which I think it probably would be. We have full av facilities, projecter etc. Might even be able to swing net access with a little bit of luck. The conference room is probably big enough for about 8-10 people and their laptops.

Hi, I would be interested in joining in. I work part time - so any night of the week could possibly suit me. Have just registered for the laptop crop at the gold coast so will probably meet some of you then if not before.
I am a southside Brisbane girl so very close and convienant for me. :wave:
