I'm moving to the bay area for the summer!

Dh got an internship with at Gap, inc (yes the clothing store, who also owns Banana Republic and Old Navy, and yes I get FABULOUS discounts) in their corporate headquarters. So we are moving to San Francisco for the summer. We are hopefully going to be renting out someone's house or apartment while they are gone for the summer (we've got several possiblities in the works).

So who lives in the Bay Area and wants to get together while I'm there?

I live in the Bay area. We are only 45 min from San Fran. I have been up to Fishermans Wharf twice, and my hubby took me into the city for our anniversary.

I am happy for you, but oh so sad for me. :( Congrats and have a great time, it is so beautiful here. Just so you know, we are in the San Jose area, but not in San Jose city. :)

But of course, leaving in May...bummer

I grew up there, does that count? I am moving back to the bay area this summer myself. You will like it there, except for the whole parking street cleaning thing. Which area are you looking into?

I think we are going to live in Daly City...that's where we found a house to rent for the summer...if it all works out. We also have a couple of possibilities in Berkley.

If he is working in SF itself I would take Daly City, that way he wouldn't have to deal with the bridge commute. Then again Daly City is foggy most of the time and Berkley is warmer. Lots of pros and cons hehe. Both places very pretty.
