This weeks Encore! Encore! Challenge is Squish it!!!! (white space challenge)


Inspiration:
Yeah, yeah, I know it sounds silly, but I want you to try something that maybe you have never done before!!! Create a layout where all (or at least a majority) of your elements and photos are on one area of the page!! Keep this area your focal point! And leave the rest of your layout "blank"--considered white space or negative space--the area where no elements (or very little elements are)

Challenge: Use the Iced Java Page Kit (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7118) from the DSP store which is full of great elements and papers to get you started!!!


Ideas/Examples:
If you are really stuck, try a scraplift!!!
And if you have already posted a layout that you think would make a good example of this technique, post a link for others to get ideas or possibly a scraplift!!!!

Obviously I need to do more of this sort of thing, I searched and searched and could only find one layout that might be the same idea and it was a lift of one of Formby's plus I was doubling for a featured designer so of course I had to keep adding stuff. :)

I love this kit! I just had to do this challenge! I had a hard time with the white space thing, so I ended up doing a scraplift. Mine didn't turn out to be as beautiful as the original but at least I got it finished, phew :lol:
