I just bought the Pixel Magic Starter Kit

I haven't gotten in the mail yet. I have been browsing this site and and I'm not quite sure how the whole digital scrap booking things works. Is it all on the disc, or do I buy pages? Can somebody please explain to me how it all works. Thanks.

You make the pages on your computer using whatever software you have. You can download backgrounds and embellishments to make your pages look pretty - some you buy (eg from the DSP store (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/)) or you can take advantage of the many Freebies (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/index.php?cat=738) available. You can then choose to print them (at home or through a photo processing store), post them to a gallery, email them to friends and family etc.

Would this be the software that I designed my pages on, or would I have to use another program such as Photo shop. I am looking for an inexpensive program that isn't so hard to use.

you have it already! it's all you need to get going and you can make unlimited pages in it then print or send off for printing. or don't print and just share online.
you'll have a step by step tutorial on the bonus disk that will walk you through how to make a page.
