Yikes, I deleted my Faux Finish brushes.

Oh no!!! I playing around installing new brushes and accidently deleted ALL my faux finish brushes. They were all the ones that came with my PSE3.0. Please tell me that I can get them again.

I'm pretty sure I deleted them. I tried to load them from the brushes folder (in the program folder) and nothing loads.

They are gone. wah!!!!

Can you tell me where I might be able to find them again. I miss my plastic brush the most.

It's okay :) If you truly deleted them, someone with PS can email you the abr file. But...
You CANNOT delete brushes from inside the program, only in the Open/Save window dialogs where you actually browse to the file. Then you have to select the file and actually click on the Delete X or hit Delete button.

If the filename is listed when you browse to Load brushes, then it's not deleted. What likely happened is you loaded them and now they're at the very bottom of the brushes menu. Check down there after loading them.

Also, I'm curious what you did that could delete an entire brush set at once, unless you really hit delete and the filename no longer appears in your file browsee dialog.

Are they no longer in your category drop down menu? Like Assorted, Default, Faux Finish isn't on the list anymore? When you go to Load them, do you have the abr file?

Here's what I did. I'm almost embarrassed to tell you.

I had loaded my DSP Grunge and Calendar Brushes and wanted to create their own folder specifically for DSP brushes. I went to something like save brush set and saved them accidently as Faux Finish brushes. So, basically I re-wrote the file and deleted the exsisting brushes.

Does that make sense?

Ok, now I just need a PSE3 friend to help me out. Please.
